Snow of Red

My nostrils flared as more snow fell from the skies. My breathing was strong and silent. The sun was high in the sky and blended in with my forest. Everything was perfect but for one thing. I could smell the stink even a few yards away. And the snapping of falling branches, it was loud. This thing doesn't know that it shouldn't be here. It will have no warning from me. I am hungry for its flesh and meat, by the smell and it's walking it is alone and female.

I slowly paced myself to her, closing the distance. When I finally caught sight of her, I blended in, making her fear the woods. She wore bright colors and she running away from something but it wasn't me. Why is she running? She trips and falls into a small puddle, making even more shrieks and noise. This female is disturbing nature, she should be killed. That is why I am here.

Then she looks up at me as I jump from my perch. She screams louder as my gun points at her face. But her eyes are looking at a new target. A heavy breathing is rolling done my spine. I turned around to see this giant half man and dear creature staring back at me with dark eyes digging into my skull. Its antlers push at me and punchers holes into my chest. This creature rolls its head with great strength and throws me into the puddled of ice and snow, dripping blood everywhere.

The girl was still screaming when it moved to her. The creature just twisted her neck 180 degrees and she was silent forever, her horrified eyes blazing into mine. His mask of ancient times stared at me, and then he went after me next. Biting into my neck and ripping my flesh off, and eating it raw, barley chewing.
