Krista was done with her make-up and decided to help out LaLa. She placed blue eye shadow and lipstick on the alien's face, getting the make-up to the bone structure.

"There you're done," Krista said, washing her hands in the sink.

LaLa stood up and gazed at the vanity mirror. She smiled at her reflection, next she puckered her lips, and then started to make weird faces. Krista only laughed as she finished the last touches with her long lavender hair.

"This going to be a good Halloween," the alien said.

"I'm glad you talked me into coming with you and your friends to go trick-or-treating, it's been so long," Krista stated.

"So you girl's supposed to be?" Henna interrupted.

She walked into the bathroom, and leaned against the door frame. The girls stood up and showed off their costumes for the night.

"I'm going as Sailor Pluto," Krista explained.

"I'm going as one of the space flight stewardess," LaLa said, "like the girls in 'The Fifth Element'."

"Well you girls have tonight," henna said.

"You're not coming with us?" the alien asked.

"Not this time. I had my fair share of ghouls, haunts, monsters, and ghosts." Then the woman's eyes shifted towards the shower. "Speaking of ghosts, Derik people can see you on this night maybe in the morning so take it easy on the kids, will ya?"

A ghost with no legs, and dressed like death appeared to the girls. He then said, "I'm already aware of it…"

"And hear you." With that Henna left the bathroom

Krista and LaLa just looked at each other and laughed. Then they continued to finish before nightfall

---

"I heard you the first time!!" Henna shouted across the hallway.

She rushed to the front door, with a bowel of candy in her hands. Once she opened the door, she saw an older guy and a young teen girl as videogame characters.

The teen opened her bag and shouted, "Trick-or-treat?!"

Henna said nothing for a long time and then said, "Hey Mariko and Damien. Krista and LaLa are still getting ready, but come in." The duo went inside and she closed the door behind them. "So let me guess your both Fi and Ganondorf from the Zelda games?"

"How did you know?" Mariko asked.

"Luckily guess."

"I bet," Damien stated.

Henna ignored his comment as the rest of the group greeted them in the kitchen. After some short time, the rest of their group joined before nightfall. There was Dragoon as The Phantom of the Opera and Hydra as Hunter (Left 4 Dead). Yuki showed up with Luke, she was dressed in men fashion from the 1940's and Luke was just in a classic skeleton suit. Sven and Arabelle were the duo Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.

As dusk was slowly approaching, Henna said one last thing, "Okay my friends before you go out as a giant group greedy for candy, and I have one thing to say."

"Just say it already!!" Sven demanded

"Shut-up midget!! As I was saying respect Halloween and don't mess around with things that you'll regret."

"Let's go," LaLa shouted.

The tall alien ran out of the house. Soon the rest of the group followed, some happy and cheerful for Halloween, others just wanted it to be over. They left Henna alone in her house, not taking heed of her warning.

"I hope when shit hits the fan they won't call me, there is a Twilight Zone marathon I like to watch." Then she closed the door and went on with her Halloween.

---

"Sven you have to!!"

"No I don't!!"

"Come on we can double the candy!!" Mariko stated.

"I don't care!! I just want to move on with this stupid holiday!!"

Krista couldn't handle the ague and just sat by the sidewalk, Damien and Derik joined her. She just clicked her fingers against her costume staff.

"I'm surprised how warm it is tonight," Damien said.

"It's nice. I remembered one time when it snowed," Krista spoke.

"I remembered that night; it was an eerie peaceful night."

"If I knew you were going as Ganondorf, I would be Zelda."

"It was Mariko's idea."

"But still it would be nice to dress up as a team. I would like wearing a fancy dress of a princess."

"But you look good in a skirt," he commented.

Damien didn't realize what he said till a few seconds later. Krista lifted her brow and just smiled. Before they could say anything a yelp made them turn around.

"LaLa put me down now!!" Sven demanded, struggling to get out the alien's grip.

"No," she stated.

"Put me down alien!!"

"Do you want me to put in the air again?!?!"

Sven let out a growl and stopped struggling. "No I don't want you to do that."

"Good now let's go trick-or-treating." The alien placed Sven down gentle and added, "And I bet Arabelle would like some candy."

After a while the whole group was trick-or-treating, they enjoyed the night and the little talks they had between houses. But like every night, Halloween was growing late and their bags were almost to the brim with sweets.

"I think we should be heading back soon," Hydra said.

"I vote for back home. I have enough candy to last till next year," Dragoon stated.

"I agree," LaLa said.

"Finally let's go home," Sven demanded.

Mariko was the only one still wanting to get more candy. "Oh come on. One more house, please?"

"No, we should go," Damien said.

"I'll go with you for one last house, Mariko," Krista suggested.

Mariko smiled and darted to the last house on the block before anyone could stop her. The rickety house was creepy and old. Krista followed her to the porch and knocked on the door.

"Will you trade my chocolate bar for one sugar twist?" LaLa asked.

"Only if you make that two," Luke demanded.

The two were making trades with their candy on the curb, going back and forth with deals. Hydra was making weird and funny faces for Dragoon, who was giggling up a storm. Then the ghost girl made her own faces and Hydra only smiled.

"So LaLa," Yuki said.

"Yes, my friend?" the alien asked.

"Do your people have a holiday like Halloween?" she inquired.

LaLa looked puzzled and questioned, "I don't understand, we don't have a holiday at all like Halloween, even your whole planet doesn't celebrate it."

"I mean does you people celebrate anything horror like, getting dressed up in costumes, honoring the dead," Yuki explained.

The tall alien sucked on a lollipop for a while, thinking of an event of her home world. "Well we do have a week, about three Earth days, in which we spend honoring monsters. It happens only once every two decades."

"Honoring monsters?" Sven questioned.

It seemed everyone in the group was interested in what LaLa had to say. The friends slowly moved in closer and she continued.

"Yes, honoring monsters is what my people and I do." LaLa finished her sucker and moved to another piece of candy, eating between her sentences. "Unlike Earthlings we have real things to fear in the dark and in sunlight."

"We have monsters on Earth," Yuki clarified.

"Not really most of them come from other places like worlds and spells. My planet has predators that can eat me whole."

"But why do you honor monsters?" Luke asked, concerned.

"We honor monsters as a way of saying thank you to them." LaLa finished one piece of candy and moved to the next. "For if it was not for them, we wouldn't have developed the skills and powers we have today. I guess it is more of 'The Give of Thanks' holiday of next month is closest to my holiday. "

"You're such a weird alien, LaLa," Sven remarked.

The tall alien said nothing but stood up suddenly. She was silent as her friends just stared at her. Then Yuki's ears started to twitch, moving in all directions.

"Something isn't right in the air," LaLa finally spoke.

"Are you sure?" Luke asked.

"Get behind me!!" LaLa demanded as she made a very large rectangle shield with her powers.

Luke's question was answered by several enormous blasts of dark energy. It was only the alien's shield that gave them any protection. LaLa dug her heels into the ground, getting a firm base, to hold up the shield.

"Mariko! Krista!" Damien screamed out. In all the commotion, there was no time in saving the two girls. He continued to shout out their names, unable to do anything else with the waves of dark energy in the way.

"Turn around…"

Damien turned on his heels. For the fist time, and maybe not the last, he was glad to see Derik's ghost appearance. In the poltergeist's arms were the girls, Mariko and Krista. They looked stressed and frightened, their outfits and hair was a mess, and they were gasping for air. When Derik let them go, Mariko fell to her knees while Krista wobbled in Derik's grasp.

"That felt like a horrible rollercoaster," Krista stated. She slowly felt normal.

"OH ON!!" Mariko cried.

Damien went to her side and asked, "What's wrong? Did Derik-"

"I dropped my candy," Mariko cried

"I did what Damien…?" Derik asked, wondering what he had to say.

Before anyone could say anything, LaLa shield gave out. It exploded into a firework show of sparking pink orbs, causing the group to fall back but it did stopped the blasts of dark energy. Luke was the first to get up, and then he aided Yuki to her feet. Soon the other friends started to get up and cough from the dust and dirt.

"What hit us?" LaLa asked, feeling very sore.

"You," Sven answered.

"Don't kid around-"

"I'm not it's really you."

Sven pointed out in front of the old house. There, in front of the group, stood a copy of LaLa. Everything was in detail, from her long legs to her snow white hair. But her eyes weren't neon pink, they were bitch black dark.

"Great," the true LaLa stated, getting pissed in the imposter.

The alien was about to attack when Krista' staff was flung at the imposter. The staff shattered against the imposter's skull, she didn't even flinch. Krista took a few steps back and got ready in a fighting pose. Then the imposter went after her. The group froze in fear as it started to run. It body changed shapes and color, it bones creaked and cracked, its skin shrank against the shorter height as the imposter formed a copy of the real Krista. But it still had the soulless black eyes.

Before she could get a foot closer to Krista, a bright blue orb of raw energy hit it. It landed at the imposter's side, causing her to fall on to the hard street, motionless.

"Thanks Sven!!" the real Krista shouted.

"And I thought this holiday was the worst, but I things are moving up."

"Krista and Mariko, I need you two to clear out this street of kids and everyone else," LaLa ordered.

They nodded their heads and ran off, giving the group a battlefield to fight on.

"Hydra, Dragoon, Luke, and Yuki, I need you guys to take Arabelle back to Henna's"

The ghosts went invisible and flew. Luke looked back once at the tall alien and ran off with Yuki and Arabelle. Sven was about to leave when LaLa stopped him.

"Sven I need you with me!!" she demanded.

"I can't leave Arabelle's side" he declared.

"She'll be safer out of danger, plus we need to stay this thing."

"What about me?" Damien asked, wondering why he wasn't going with Mariko and Krista.

"I need you to be my eyes," LaLa said with a smile and pointed at her own eyes. "Tell me what you see."

Damien turned his sight to the motionless imposter. "It's giving off a faint purple glow." Then it started to stir, moving to his knees.

"Anything else?" LaLa asked.

"Nothing yet."

The imposter than got to her feet. She looked pissed and howled at the three. It started to charge at them, still in Krista's form.

"What now?" Sven questioned.

"DUCK!!" LaLa shouted.

Sven and Damien dropped to the ground just in the nick of time. The tall alien did a rotated kick to the imposter's head, causing her to fall to the ground, hard. She screamed a mighty howl as LaLa kicked her once again.

"In her mouth!!" Damien stated. "There is something white and bright in the back of her mouth!!"

"Thanks now go with Krista and Mariko to secure this street," LaLa ordered.

Damien nodded his head and bolted off. When he was about five meters away from the duo, the imposter's body started to swell. Her features of Krista started to melt away and form scales. Her mouth started to grow large, full of sharp teeth. Her arms started to shirk and form small claws. The imposter's height started to grow, even towering over LaLa. The imposter new form was a hefty dinosaur of pure muscle and bite force, a T-Rex. Then LaLa and Sven took a few steps back, gazing up at the imposter's new form. The magic duo discharged about a dozen, each, magic orbs at the T-Rex. The dinosaur did nothing, but snarl at them. The orbs did nothing.

"LaLa…" Sven muttered.

"Yeah…?" LaLa mumbled.

"You know the backup plan?"

"The one that includes running?"

"Yeah that one" he answered, moving one foot backwards, about ready to flee.

The T-Rex lowered her head to eye level to them. Her massive jaw could easy eat them both up and more. Then she let out a nasty roar that echoed throughout the night. Sven and LaLa both screamed and bolted in the opposite direction of the T-Rex. The imposter bellowed out another roar and started to chase after them. The chase of cat and mice continued down the streets and sharp turns of concrete corners.
I’m so sorry this is late and incomplete. I just got busy and alsmot forgot about this story. It came out so shitty!!
